BBC journalist basically saying all they've been told is the inflation change.

So all UUK seems to be doing is say that life is more expensive (duh) and they need more money. No evidence. No calls for rethinking the distribution of students in the first place. How are they so inept?"

    Sorry for late reply - it’s work in progress by UUK - on the basis that 2015-16 was the last break even point for funding cost of a degree - updated for inflation that would be roughly £12-13k this year - the suggestion being some has to come from direct funding."
