"The vast majority of the time the homeowner simply demonstrating he is armed causes the intruder to flee with no shots fired.  I have had that happen multiple times in my life.   

I have no “fantasy” regarding that.  If pushed by an idiot who thinks he is bulletproof, he will find out otherwise."
