"On the topic of chimneys being swept I heard the sweep say suddenly and loudly “oh la la!” (Yes, people really do say it!). She’d opened the large wood burner to find a dead Little Owl. We hadn’t noticed it and assume it must have arrived down the chimney some time when we were away. Sad."
