"I just picked up lumber for an upcoming project and it has some of the heaviest pieces of wood I’ve ever worked with. I’m guessing at least 1000 pounds. 

I’m bringing it to the kiln for drying, hopefully that shaved some weight off. It’s Douglas Fir and the biggest piece is around 10”x18”x12’"
